Paul Mitchell the School Missouri Columbia offers the challenge of a very stimulating and rewarding career. The school is equipped to meet all the demands that cosmetology in the modern world requires. Training is conducted in a 9181 square foot facility located in a brand new state of the art facility. It is divided into a core/theory classroom, general classroom, retail area, admissions office, color bar/dispensary, laundry room and bathrooms for both the students and guests, as well as a client clinic floor with 39 stations.
The school is supported by 6 shampoo stations, mobile dryer stations, individual styling equipment provided in the student kits, various audio/visual equipment (DVD players, TV monitors, Milady instructional videos, wall posters, etc), complete laundry machines, doll head stands and posts, nail workstations and implements, a fully networked computer system, and an up-to-date reading and video library for both students and learning leaders.
Our school facility is approximately 7,310 square feet and is on the first floor. We have outside ramps from the parking lot onto our sidewalks that lead into our building, and a large level parking lot. All of our entry doors have a minimum of 32 inch clear opening. The flooring within the entire facility is non-porous tile or vinyl flooring. The school does contain a handicapped lavatory in both men and women’s rest room facilities. The drinking fountain is below 36 inches in height, and easily activated with very little pressure. All doors within the facility can be opened with minimal pressure and can be opened with a closed fist. All classrooms have wheelchair accessibility as well as the clinic areas. There are no fixed tables or chairs in the classroom, so classroom space is easily adjusted. The emergency systems include both flashing lights and audible signals.
Students must abide by local (city and/or landlord) parking rules. They are announced during orientation. Paul Mitchell the School Missouri Columbia will not be responsible for parking violations and/or towing fees.
